What do I offer?

Ask the questions.....

What role do I play?

I will visit you to book your wedding and to arrange all the ins and outs of the day such as requirements, albums etc. I'll be there to photograph your wedding day in person, and I'll visit you after the wedding to discuss and provide your photos.

Can we choose what we want to be taken?

Yes of course. Your wedding can be tailor made to suit you, allowing you to choose photo requirements, time of attendance etc etc. I may however make some suggestions, which you may or may not choose to accept.

Who chooses the album, order and size of the photographs?

This will be a joint decision between us. I will choose the album(s) for your wedding and create the appropriate sizes and order in which your photographs are placed, however, you will choose the photos you want in final selection and if you feel the need to have the order and sizes changed then I will accommodate this. Each album is of high quality, some of which are leather. If you do not wish us to use leather, then alternative material will be used.

Can we have a story book rather than a standard style photo album?

Yes. I offer a story book album for each package at an extra cost.

Can we see samples of your albums and photographs?

Yes. When I visit you I will bring along samples of the albums I can provide along with sample photographs.

Can we view our pictures on the Internet?

Yes. Your pictures will be uploaded onto the Internet within days of your wedding, allowing yourselves, family and friends to browse and order extra copies (if desired).

Can anyone see our photographs?

Photographs may be used on the Portfolio page. This is usually used to show family members the photos and give them the option of buying their own. However, if you wish your photos can remain off the internet.

How soon after our wedding will we get our photographs?

I will attend within 3/4 weeks after your wedding day to show you the preview album (in some packages you can keep the preview album - See Prices & Packages), then you will be given 2-3 weeks to choose your photographs to enter your final album(s). Once the final request has been made I will visit within approximately 6 (depending on suppliers) weeks to give you your album(s).

Can we buy all our photographs?

Yes. After 12 months from the date of the wedding I will allow you to buy all the photographs and will cease to sell copies should you choose to do so. The cost of this option is £300 and all photos will be provided on CD-ROMS. Alternatively, the CD-ROMS are included in the price of some of the packages (see 'Packages and Prices')

Can we order extra copies?

Yes. Extra reprint copies will be available as soon as the photos are uploaded to the Internet.  These photos can be purchased at an extra cost (see 'Packages and Prices'). However, if the CD-ROM has been purchased or the Bride and Groom have included the CD in their package then I will not offer re-prints on this album. (Other sizes and prices are available on request.)

Will you travel?

Yes. I work within the West Midlands area, but I'm prepared to work anywhere in the country. However, travel expenses may be charged over a 25-mile radius.

Do you guarantee being at the wedding?

Nothing is guaranteed in life, however I will attend unless serious illness or circumstances out of my control prevent me from attending. If I fail to attend for either reason I will arrange cover with another photographer of the same standard or offer a full refund, which ever you decide upon.

What deposit am I required to pay and when?

A £100 deposit will secure my services for your wedding date, and this is required at the time of booking.

When are payments required?

Half of the remaining amount is due 2 months prior to the wedding date, with the remainder due 4 weeks before.

Can we make a booking?

Yes. Simply call me on either of the numbers on my 'Contact' page to arrange a suitable time for me to visit, or send an email. You can book over the phone but I find it better to meet the clients in person and visa-versa so that things can be clear from the offset.

Do we sign a contract?

Yes, we all sign a simple declaration of commitment, along with your needs on the day.

What happens if the wedding doesn't go ahead?

If you can re-book a wedding date within 2 months of the original planned marriage I will do my best to re-arrange and attend on the new wedding date. However, should other commitments stop me from attending or if the wedding is cancelled permanently, NO refund will be made on funds already paid.
